It's turkey time! We kept things to our little bubble and it was probably one of the most fun Thanksgiving's on record. Since the Macy's day parade was re-imagined, we dialed up a 1987 parade on You Tube. I don't think we've laughed that hard in a while.
Of course there was more food than you could shake a stick at, but leftovers rule! I hope your family enjoyed your holiday safely and had as much fun as we did.
This week was a big one around here. The kids are both finally old enough to volunteer to help a family friend who sponsors a food drive every Thanksgiving. We packed up hundreds of meals for those in need. I'm such a proud mama!
I've said "this year" more times than I can count because 2020 has been a doozy. I really do appreciate all the time we're spending together though. And, I'm baking my brains out, so there's all kinds of different creative outlets to explore.
There's no denying that the Holiday's are right around the corner. Is it just me, or has this year been equal parts mind numbingly slow and where did it go? The kids have taken over the front yard decorations and their inner Griswald is showing. Hope things are getting good over in your neck of the woods.
How can it be November? The election is over but we were on pins and needles waiting for the results. Thank goodness the weather has been so nice, because we're burning off our nervous energy outside. Of course they called the election the ONE time we weren't at home obsessing about it. It was the result we'd been hoping for, so all is good over here.
What about you? Is it nice where you are? Are you turning off the TV and social to try to maintain some kind of sanity or are you locked in. (My hubby is obsessed with every Steve Kornacki update!)
I’ve never made it this far in a project 365. It’s crazy. Is it just me, or do you feel like 2020 has cleared out so much space in our lives that we’ve got room to do the things we never finished before? I think that’s why I’ve been able to keep up. I mean, what else is there to do? HA!
Here we are, on the back 9 (or 10) on this little journey of mine. I’m so glad you’ve been around to share it, whether here or on Instagram. Hope you enjoy this weeks photos!
